with guitar virtuoso Sharon Isbin
4:00 matinee, George Washington High School

It is an unbeatable collaboration when Sharon Isbin, the Grammy-award-winning guitarist who "wrote the book" on classical guitar, teams up with the internationally-acclaimed conductor Howard Griffiths, who will lead the incomparable ZCO through a program spanning Baroque to contemporary masterworks.

7:30, The North Theatre

Join the fabulous four in a musical tour by way of the fabled "Orient Express."  This exotic, intoxicating journey is just the ticket with nostalgic favorites that evoke the essence of European capitals from London to Istanbul.

with violin virtuoso Janice Martin
7:30, George Washington High School

The Romanian Symphony Orchestra performs with none other than Janice Martin, one of the concert world's most sought-after violinists, due to her lighthearted joie de vivre and breathtaking virtuosity.  (We regret that the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra had to cancel their performance.  We apologize for any inconvenience.)

7:30, George Washington High School

Trained in the classical tradition of the Kirov Ballet's Vaganova Ballet Academy -- and thrilling audiences around the world with interpretations of Tchaikovsky classics like "Swan Lake" -- the twelve dancers of the St. Petersburg Classic Ballet hail not only from the Kirov, but also The Maly and the famed St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre.
